Why music?

Music provides an amazing opportunity to connect people together. Whether it’s a catchy jingle, traditional instruments or lyrics about everyday life, songs showcase a huge part of culture today.  I have written music to market products across China, produced award-winning albums and have songs that feature on Chinese-learning syllabi worldwide - the most famous of which has had more than 3 million views on Youtube and over half a million shares on Facebook. Lots of the music I have been involved in creating combines cultures - be it British, Chinese or Aboriginal Taiwanese tribes. Music is the perfect place to bridge the gap as melodies go beyond language and songs cross borders.
